Library - Crash on full geometry import

Hello,

I'm having trouble using the plug-in, everytime I try to load something from the library rhino freezes and then crashes.

This is the version of rhino I'm using, any ideas on how to fix this major issue?

Can't wait to start using this.

unbuiltmatter Interesting, let me explore this first as no one earlier reported crashes in that matter. Does it show any info or there is crash report on desktop from Rhino? Also can you provide more info? For eg. current rendering engine? Or if you picked different data folder during installation? If you can please run also _RNShowLogs command and send file with todays date to support email at support@rhinonature.com

Hello, thank you for your reply.

The crash report I get is the same as for instance you run out of memory, see image below:

I'm using v-ray 5 update 1.5 (5.10.06) and I haven't changed anything during the installation.

I will send the email with logs now.

unbuiltmatter Umm ok but this is on import? I mean when you hit open preset button or already trying render it in V-Ray?

It was when I hit open preset, but changing it to proxy as you stated in that post solved it 🙂

unbuiltmatter Ok though that doesn't change a thing that this is a bug for investigation. Maybe something new was introduced in V-Ray update and it should be adapted on my end, need to check this. Thanks for reporting.
