I sent an email to the support email about this issue, I opened rhino8 today where I have been running RN since 2024 when I got the indie license. Today RN popped up with this message as soon as rhino opened: 
basically It seems that my device UID has changed and I do not know why. maybe a windows update? maybe from a bios update? I cannot find any information about why that would be, anywhere. So I need to deactivate but need a deactivation request code to deactivate the previous UID and do not know how to request that, and then I will need an activation request code as well to activate the new device UID
Again, I have sent an email requesting assistance with this issue to the RN support email address provided.
