cristian I have Rhino 6 but vray 4 ( next), I think i am forced to bake in this case, in order to be able to render the objects?
Yes. In that case, you need to Bake objects to the scene. There are two approaches:
- First, safe, select desired Ecosystem, click Bake, go to Layers panel and unhide RN::Export layer
- Second, unsafe, run _RNUnsafeExport (hidden command) with option Now, it will bake all ecosystems at once but if you have a large count of objects Rhino may have a hard time or even die.
cristian The problem is when baking the option to optimize the 'Filed of view' of my camera is not working. The objects outside of the cone of view will not be erased. Do you know why?
Shouldn't happen at all. If you ever occur unexpected behavior please send *.3dm file via email at support@rhinonatue.com this way I'll be able to investigate what's going on.
It depends on how big your distribution is. If you are using small patches of grass on a 100x100m area and you generate millions of objects then yes it can take a while. To check how many objects you have initially vs how many objects are left after all constraints click the Statistics button in Ecosystem rollout -> Button Strip (of course select desired Ecosystem first)
