the difference between those is that you can register two devices under one license and use them (one at a time) and you don't have to buy two single licenses (Indie solution is cheaper than two singles). This license covers a typical scenario that freelancers are facing. Having desktop for heavy-duty rendering and laptop for being able to work on the go, outside the office, or interactively show design to the client on-site.
