I'm having trouble building my own preset library. After creating my own ecosystem with Chaos Cosmos entities and saving it as suggested, there will be three possible results when trying to load it from the library:
- I receive an error massage: file could not be loaded. an unexpected error occured. please verify data if file has been edited manually.
- Nothing happens, even the new ecosystem will not show up
- If I just load the .rnp file, all entities (even if they are in the rhino file) are not recognized and their appearance is set to none. Also the statistics says generated 0.
So I obviously couldn't even find a proper workaround solution. I think it would be one of the core features of RN to create your own, easy to manage preset library, ideally with all geometry already included. I don't if I am doing something wrong or if this just not working as it should. In first case, please let me know how to do it right, in second case I'm urgently asking you for a fix.
Concerning point 1: To double check how the geometry file looks, I opened one exported by RN. During the opening I receive a message about orphaned materials from vray. Probably this helps.
Using most recent rhino and vray versions.
Thanks for your response.
